This blog is an emergency backup in case BookLikes finally shuts down once and for all. I have no idea if I'll ever post on it or not, but I wanted it here just in case.
Could you help me with something else? About the commenting, did it give you several options to choose from when replying? I want to make sure the ability to comment is as easy as possible.
Ok, sorry I didn't get back to you. Didn't realize you had replied. [one of the down sides of blogger vs wordpress, not notification thingy that I can tell] I am now using my wordpress account. I could have used the following: Wordpress google livejournal typepad AIM OpenID
All I had to do for the wordpress option was put in my wordpress site name. Easy peasy. Hope that helps.
However, it doesn't save my info, so with this comment I had to re-enter my wordpress site again. Also, the verification was a real pita! Might want to see if that can be altered for those who comment a lot. I know it is necessary if you're worried about spam though.
I got email notifications when you reply, but that might be because I'm the blog owner? o.O
Anyway, what kind of verification did you have to go through to comment? I wouldn't have the slightest idea of how to alter that without having to go to "anyone" can comment, which I really don't want to do.
And when I wrote the above comment, signed in to google, I didn't have to do a verification a second time. So that is a plus. Now to see if I have to with my wordpress account here.
I've put your address in on my wordpress feed, so if you ever do start posting here, I'll start commenting :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you!

It was the typical "click on the pictures of X" thing.

Yep, verification for the wordpress account.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for all your help. I'll probably leave things as they are for now, since I'm not sure how often I'll use this.
